Sir Rod Stewart has been in the business for decades, so there's no surprise that he's had a few questionable run-ins with some fans over the years...

He recently shared one particular incident with the DailyStar where he was taken by surprise by two girls in a hotel bathroom - describing the incident as probably the most “most humorous thing” that had happened during his long career.

“When I was in The Faces, we always had women throwing themselves at us. They’d be at the Holiday Inns or whatever hotel we were checking into.

“And I went up to my room once and threw my cases on the chair and locked the door and went to the small room to do some business and took my trousers down.

And then behind the shower curtain, I heard a rustling and a giggling and two girls actually got into the shower room into my room.

"I went, ‘So who’s in there?’ I pulled my trousers up and there were two girls.”

Earlier this year, Rod shared another throwback from his Faces days, marking the 50th anniversary of their album Ooh La La with a great throwback snap.
