Gary Stead’s reign as Black Caps coach will officially end with his contract, bringing an end to arguably the most dominant era of New Zealand cricket.
Stead had expressed a desire to remain in charge of the test team if New Zealand Cricket (NZC) would consider having split coaches, having already stood down from the white-ball role.
